'Descendants 2' hits flat note in Disney sequel

It is probably necessary to have a child under the age of 12 to appreciate what big businesses a Disney Channel movie as "Descendants 2" is, which makes the numbing nature of this baffling suite. Because while the first one showed inspiration flashes, the latter feels fully connected, as if he could skate on the title alone.

Perhaps, at least as far as appeasement of the target audience is concerned, which will be framed by a simultaneous broadcast of six networks on Disney-owned channels, including ABC. His parents, however, will find this music more difficult to tolerate, as the entirely generic nature of the songs largely depends on the energy choreography.
The original came equipped in a highly negotiable premise, with teenage sons and daughters of Disney villains - bred on an island separated from their heroic peers - being integrated into the high school frequented by descendants of heroes like the Beast , Mulan And the seven dwarfs. In addition, he exploited Kristin Chenoweth as the malformed enemy of Sleeping Beauty, offering a Broadway belt to classify the joint.
"Descendants 2", on the other hand, completely renounces any adult supervision, relying on young stars to carry the charge. And while they might have the talent for it, he then plugs them into a tedious and drawn plot, after a quick opening number that is not matched for the next two hours.
Without crossing the plot, Maleficent's daughter, Mal (Dove Cameron), became legitimate, but she felt stressed as she prepares to attend the Royal Cotillion with the Beast of Beauty and Beast, King Ben (Mitchell Hope). His efforts to adapt finally, send him back to the Isle of Losses, with his friends Evie (Sofia Carson), daughter of the Queen of Evil; The son Carlos of Cruella De Vil (Cameron Boyce); And the child of Jafar Jay (Booboo Stewart) in full pursuit.
The island introduces a new assortment of post-pubescent demon seeds, led by Uma (China Anne McClain), a chip on the ancient tentacles of "The Little Mermaid" Ursula.
